AYCR support

Clear help when a rental needs attention.

For a rental issue, start in its shared rental timeline. That keeps the dates, photos, and both participants connected to one private record.

Emergency

Call emergency services first.

If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. Do not wait for AYCR or the other participant. When it is safe, open a Safety incident from the rental timeline and add a short description and any available photos.

Damage, loss, or an item problem

Open a case from the rental timeline as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of return for a damage claim. Choose the case type, describe what happened, state what outcome you are requesting, and add before-and-after photos, estimates, or other records. AYCR will review the shared rental record before any decision about a refund, payout, or charge.

What happens next

  • New cases are marked Open and should be reviewed by AYCR within two business days.
  • Urgent safety reports are prioritized. Emergency reports are not a substitute for emergency services or a police report when one is appropriate.
  • AYCR may request more information from either participant and will record the result as Under review, Needs information, Resolved, or Closed.
  • AYCR does not automatically decide fault or collect a damage amount simply because a case is opened.
